Google Business Profile

The listing that decides whether they find you.

For a local shop, your Google Business Profile does more work than your website. It’s what shows up on Maps, what holds your reviews, and what most people see before they ever reach your site. We claim it, fix it, and keep it current — with your name on it, not ours.

The part most people get wrong

Your listing stays in your name.

There’s a version of this business where the agency claims your Google profile under their own account, and leaving means starting from zero with a listing you can’t touch. It happens constantly, and usually not out of malice — it’s just faster to set up that way.

We don’t do it that way. You are listed as the Owner from the first day. We’re a Manager. A Manager can post, reply, update hours and upload photos — everything the work requires. A Manager cannot remove the Owner, and you can remove a Manager yourself, from your phone, in about thirty seconds, without asking us.

That matters more than it sounds, because your reviews are attached to that profile, not to you. Years of five-star reviews from real customers cannot be exported, moved, or recreated. If you lose access to the profile, you start again at zero while the old listing sits there with your name on it.

So the arrangement isn’t generosity. It’s just the only version that’s fair — and it’s written into the agreement rather than promised across a counter.

Questions

What owners ask about Google.

Who owns the profile — you or me?

You. Always. You stay the Owner and we’re added as a Manager, which means we can do all the day-to-day work and you can remove us from your phone in about thirty seconds without anyone’s help. Your reviews live on that profile and can never be exported or moved, which is exactly why ownership has to sit with you.

What if my listing was never claimed?

Google often creates a listing for a business from other data, so it exists without anyone controlling it — which is why the hours are wrong and nobody can fix them. We claim it, verify it, and clean it up.

Can you get me more reviews?

We can ask your customers for them properly: a Google-compliant request sent to everyone, never cherry-picked to only the happy ones, and never with an incentive attached. We will not write fake reviews or buy them. That’s a suspension risk for your listing and we won’t put you near it.

Do you reply to reviews for me?

We write the replies and you approve every one before it posts — even a two-word thank-you. On Google we can post as a profile manager once you’ve approved. On Yelp, responses have to come from you directly, so we hand you the wording instead.

Why am I not showing up on Google Maps?

Usually the profile is unclaimed, unverified, filed under the wrong primary category, or your address and phone number don’t match across the web. Sometimes it’s simply distance from the searcher, which no amount of work can change. We’ll tell you which one it is before you pay anything.

Profile management is included in the $199 monthly plan alongside your website — it isn’t sold separately, because doing one without the other doesn’t work. See what’s included →
